Fidelity is one of South Africa’s most recognisable security brands. Their teams operate across the country and the brand carries a strong sense of pride, discipline and national identity.

When Fidelity approached Splssh, the goal was to create a supporters-style jersey that employees and supporters could wear with pride. The brief was clear: the jersey should feel distinctly South African and carry the nostalgic energy of classic supporters apparel.

Instead of producing a standard branded shirt, the aim was to develop a garment that felt authentic, premium and rooted in the old-school South African supporters aesthetic.

The Challenge

Supporters jerseys have a very specific cultural feel in South Africa. They evoke the energy of rugby stands, national pride and a sense of belonging.

Fidelity wanted to capture that spirit while still maintaining the professionalism of their brand.

The garment needed to feel:

• proudly South African
• premium and well constructed
• authentic to the supporters jersey style
• distinctive enough to stand apart from typical corporate apparel

Rather than using stock garments, the jersey needed to be fully custom developed with attention given to construction, labels and finishing details.

The Idea

Splssh approached the project by drawing inspiration from classic South African supporters jerseys.

These garments are instantly recognisable for their structured panel construction, bold colour blocks and durable fabrics.

The idea was to take that nostalgic design language and reinterpret it into a modern supporters jersey tailored specifically for Fidelity.

Instead of relying purely on printed branding, the garment would incorporate authentic apparel detailing, making it feel closer to a retail-quality jersey than promotional clothing.

This approach would ensure the final product felt like something people genuinely wanted to wear.

Splssh’s Approach

Splssh developed the jerseys through a full apparel production process, focusing on quality construction and distinctive finishing elements.

The garments were manufactured with custom panels and carefully selected fabrics to create the structured look typical of classic supporters jerseys.

Additional details were introduced to elevate the garment and make it feel premium.

These included:

• custom woven garment labels
• panel stitching for authentic jersey construction
• carefully balanced colour blocking
• durable fabrics suited for regular wear

Rather than simply supplying apparel, Splssh managed the entire process from garment development to final production.

The Packaging

To complete the experience, the jerseys were presented in bespoke packaging boxes.

Packaging plays an important role in premium merchandise projects, transforming the garment from a simple piece of clothing into a complete brand experience.

The custom boxes helped reinforce the value of the jersey while creating a memorable unboxing moment.

This attention to detail ensures the product feels intentional and collectible rather than disposable merchandise.

Project Highlights

• bespoke supporters jersey design
• custom panel-stitched garment construction
• premium woven labels and detailing
• retail-quality apparel manufacturing
• custom presentation boxes

The Outcome

The final jerseys successfully captured the spirit of traditional South African supporters wear while remaining aligned with Fidelity’s brand identity.

The garments feel authentic, durable and proudly South African, making them something employees and supporters can wear with genuine pride.

By combining thoughtful apparel design with high-quality manufacturing, Splssh delivered a piece of merchandise that feels far closer to a retail jersey than typical corporate clothing.
