Naked Insurance isn’t a traditional insurer, and their merchandise shouldn’t feel traditional either. Known for doing things differently in the insurance world, the fast-growing digital brand approached Splssh to design and produce employee merchandise that reflected their modern, technology-driven identity.
The brief was clear: create bespoke apparel and branded products that felt bold, minimal and future-focused, while also developing a scalable system that would make it easy for employees to access the merchandise as the company continued to grow.
The Challenge
Naked wanted more than standard corporate merchandise. The goal was to create employee apparel and brand gifting that genuinely reflected the company’s progressive identity and strong internal culture.
The design direction leaned heavily into a modern, technology-inspired aesthetic: clean silhouettes, minimal branding and garments that felt closer to premium lifestyle apparel than traditional corporate merchandise.
The Naked team referenced Tesla-style design language, aiming for apparel that felt sleek, refined and distinctly different from the typical branded clothing often associated with corporate environments.
Beyond the design itself, Naked also wanted a smarter way for employees to access the merchandise. As the company expanded, manually distributing apparel across the team would quickly become inefficient.
What they needed was not only great merchandise, but also a scalable employee merchandise program.

The Online Merch Store
After seeing the final merchandise collection, the Naked team asked Splssh to extend the project further by developing an internal merchandise store for employees.
Through this platform, team members can browse available items and place orders directly.
